How come all I get is plow transport and delivery missions

All I get is plow transport and delivery missions, there is no cultivate or harvest missions spawning.

It is like that this game. The Dev's claim it is random the jobs you get, but it is not. You mostly get plough jobs and transport with the very rare occasion you will have a fix a building up job. During harvest season you are supposed to get harvest jobs for about a month only.

I got 4 or 5 cultivate jobs in the first couple of years, none since. Now, 4 years in mostly plough, transport or delivery with a few building repairs. I'v never seen a harvest job at all.

I always seem to have some empty fields that need plowing because of the beat and potatoes update I bought the game as the dlc was released. I don't think the fields change dynamically, so wants you plowed all the fields they will remain that way, the fields you help with sowing in the spring will be the fields you help with harvest or cultivation next yeah. Of course their probaly be some fields that are pre cultivated and planted in April if the fields where plowed in the fall, but I will have to wait until next season to do my test, because they say if you get a culivating quest you can harvest the crop on it for free, but not sure. I also did a test that if you had control of the field for a mission you could plant your own crop on it and it would grow through the cycles, wouldn't be the best because cultivating will release your claim on the field.

Yes you can. But to complete the quest you must then plough the field before cultivating it.

Really? Interesting, but given that you loose the field after I guess you might as well buy it (after ploughing or whatever of course, so you get paid rather than doing it for yourself!).

I dont even do the quest any more, when they say there is a quest , I go look to to see if the AI planted it , buy it and go from there. I only did the quest for the harvester, Olivers tractor, Carlas plough , and that wacked out girl with the fertilizer spreader....

I now own all 4 greenhouses on the map, looking to but up the farmland . Beings you can only hire 4 "tractors" at a time and I use them a lot. I do go around repairing any farm I choose and plant all peas to be harvested by the " hired workers" and stick to harvesting a few fields of beets.

It does get boring and I will try some different things shortly, should have most all the implements available soon. Harvesting 3 times a year ( April , June/July , Sept, will keep you busy.
