Seeder

I've done all kinds of quests , but I can't seem to find one that I can do to get a seeder and I've already, ploughed, cultivated and fertilized. Can anyone tell me if there's a quest to get one?

there are many jobs/tasks to complete to get the necessary equipment to start working on your farm. open up the map [ press M ] you see locations where people require you to do something for them in exchange for seeder, spreader and more.

This game actually encourages you to drive around & learn the map in the beginning. When you get close to an area that has a quest or equipment, a message will display on the screen. Then the map will also display the locations.

Spoiler alert for planter location:
Due south of the past the Agricultural Store, is a farm that wants you to plow a very large field & fix some greenhouses

NOTE 1: Make sure your vehicle is full of fuel before starting, since many players have found the hard way that running out of fuel will cost you. The tow truck will give you some fuel when empty, but only enough to drive back to refuel.
NOTE 2: The planter/seeder does not display the key binding for raising the planter, which makes many think it doesn't have that option. But it does & uses the normal operate 1 - raise/lower key binding. Some have had issues backing this implement up, which is due to the fact that they have it in the lowered position.

I tried it but it does not work - like I see some animation on seeder but it still use grain inside for plant automatically if I ride it over the field.

There are markers on map showing quests (and vehciles alike) - those intiial with equipment have picture of people.

As noted in my recent post, the quests are not active if you are starving (hunger meter is on 0), so eat:)

The raising is only by a little bit, but then is should not be planting. If you drive down a road or field, with it down, you should see lines for each seed drop, but with it raised then you should only see the wheels.

Plus, as stated above, it is near impossible to backup with it in the lowered position.

Just tested it again and ti is the same. Yes I see the animation and graphic difference but it does nothing.

It is still auto-planting and ther is no difference in going backward either in both positions.

Which tractor you using with the planter? Maybe also add some screenshots so that we can see what you doing.

Also, does the key binding work with other items, such as a dump wagon??

And as noted the button is working, the animation is there, visually it changes - but effectively it does nothing different.
