But unfortunately this is a common thing with many games, that major updates require restarts. The good thing is you have all kinds on knowledge, which can greatly assist you in your new game.
Also, it is a good chance to review what he says, since sometimes real easy to miss things the first (or 21st
Good luck
Is it profitable to sell cooked food from recipe books? Fish Recipes bring less profit than canned ones. I checked it out.
Interesting about the fish recipes. I'll keep that in mind as well
I have been selling my food at the September Festival trader (Rose). She gives much better prices than John or other traders. She also will buy the flowers you grow at a much better price than John.
Flower - Festival - John- Dahlia - 1.68 - 0.84
- Rose - 2.19 - 1.10
- Tulip - 1.85 - 0.93
- Zinnia - 1.77 - 0.88
Well worth keeping many things until the September Festival, since the better prices.No. With the exception of the egg forest casserole and the dairy fish dish, you are better off using the ingredients to make canned foods. Honey dishes are the worst with a couple of them being worth barely more than a jar of unprepared honey alone. At least this was the case before all the prices got nerfed the other day.
Recipes might have been just about worth it back in the day when you had to can products one at a time but now the cookbooks are essentially pointless.
- Food - John's - Festival
- Sushi - 20.80 - 41.60
- Rafter's soup - 22.40 - 44.80
- Bakery fish special - 21.60 - 43.20
- Fish in tomato sauce - 8.79 - 17.58
- Fish in aroma oil - 9.59 - 19.18
- Fish (reddish) raw - 2.80 - 5.60
- Fish (silver) raw - 3.36 - 6.72
This is just a short list of some of the prices possible. Also, Honey recipes are worth even more than the above listed Fish recipes.NOTE: I have not yet seen if prices for these items fluctuate over time like other commodities, so the prices listed above, may vary.
Is this before or AFTER yesterdays money nerf?
But, I have been selling to the September Festival for over a week, & have always received good prices.
Otherwise as mentioned you can sometimes find other NPC's that are willing to trade fish. I regularly buy all raw commodities from John & NPC's. I then upgrade those items & thus turn them over for a profit. This is a very good practice for starting a new game, & will net you a decent source of income over time.
