I was really interested in the comments from the DEVs in their NEW 0.68 amendment.

"Checked and Improved Conditions for Wives to get PREGNANT".

Just how this amendment is actually and physically going to 'Play Out' has me now wondering - cos... it don't work out now!!....

To get Children now (in the game), is bewildering to me. When I go to bed in the game my missus is in bed and the sheets looking like they have been 'Stitched' together to prevent 'Entry'. All we see is her head.

She is 'In Bed' when I get home from a hard days work in the Fields, she does NOT move from the bed until I've gone, and always has 'A Lay In' when I get up in the morning - normally at the top of the list of a blokes best time!!.

When asked if she is 'ready for bed' in the conversational comments at the evening time, she ALWAYS replies 'I'm NOT ready for bed yet' - chose how many times you ask (I've tried unsuccessfully 5 times when I've been what I might describe as desparate!......).

I can ONLY assume that if things go on like this, that THIS BIRTH, will certainly need a visit from the proverbial "Passing Angel" (maybe John in disguise) to hurry things along and produce "An Immaculate Conception" - Cos, it looks like I have NO CHANCE????.....

Maybe she gets headaches from all the hard work she doesn't do or from the chemicals from the constant hairdos.

I've not gone down the marriage route yet so not familiar with the conversations.
Is there an option to give her some chocs, perhaps a can of beer or 10?

Them greasey chat-up lines would have sent me running for the hills long ago.

Perhaps the deed was done on the wedding night and now you have to wait for the pitter-patter of tiny feet. Enjoy the peace and quiet whilst you can, it won't last.

I physically CANNOT do anymore to the house or farm, I've done EVERYTHING, right down to the last amendment with the NEW Floors etc, so it's NOT that!!

NO, when you get married now in this game, it seems the Devs have taken away ANY reference out of the 'speech' possibilities to give the wife ANY more GIFTS at all. I've loads of gifts transferred to the cellar for storage as I cannot give any of them to her at all. It seems as soon as you are married, you will NEVER wish to give your wife a gift anymore!!

Sorry, I don't have the answer. I have been wondering about it myself. Just out of curosity, how long have you been married? Did you notice that you didn't get a full nights rest on your honymoon night? :) I wonder if it is just going to come down to needing MORE money and MORE social points.

You can still sweet talk, if you can manage those corny lines without vomiting, i am guessing the 2 sweet talk option will eventually lead to gift option, or baby making, plus the idea of money and status may very well play a role as the little brats are damn expensive to run lol.

the way that it has been implemented you be far better off single it is a hell of a lot of work and it seems that you can't spend your SP if your getting a wife or children because if you spend more then she requires either looking for a wife or getting children you loose rep with her then SP what is the point you have to save it for that and spend big on the vehicles

The only point is earning the achievement, and if you are going for the achievements you eventually need 1,000,000 social points anyway -- so you won't be spending them.

I had a complete repaired home and 50k social points. Did every day talk to her lovely..:-))
In April i married and next year april she told me she is pregnant. and i dont remember right....but months later there was a baby in the baby bed.

Yes! she is preganant at last (looks like 2 tater sacks under her jumper).
I did NOT get told by her she is pregnant (as oldkarli says above "She told me she was preganant") - Has anyone else been told like that??? - I havn't, I thought at first, she was just getting fat on me - yer know, like they do when they get married!!! (Tongue in cheek!!!...)
