how to finish repairing the whole farm ?

i mean i feel like i finished repairing everything i went through every building and wall and even the gass again and again i think i repaired everything but the repair quest is still on any idea?

Look for the foundation (thats where I fail) Or others added also the attic, on second floor, there is a wooden retractable stairs, that place is also a "popular" forgotten place.

Also the actual 'marker' is in the middle of the yard near the gazebo. When all done I had to go to that area to trigger the quest completion. Sometimes have had to walk away (outside of yard) then back to gazebo area to trigger the quest done message.

Also, check that you have all the fences repaired around the farm house area.

Actually you only have to repair all the buildings the fences (other than chicken yard) don't need to be fixed to achieve the quest.

There are several classic misses. Most are mentioned above. I've missed the peaks of the biggest barn. Those panels between the wall and the peak I mean.

I've missed the floor in the attic, the house foundation, and one wall panel in the loft of the cow barn. each one took me forever to find.

This last restart was a breeze though because I remembered it all. I decided to do all the buildings first and then work on fences etc. As soon as I finished the last building, it gave me the quest.

I'm sorry this is frustrating you. Thing is, unless you have a corrupt save, when it really is all done it will let you out. You've missed something someplace that is out of the view of your engineers sight. My guess is that it is someplace in the house or the big barn. It only takes one little section of something that's partially hidden to mess you up.

This will sound really terrible but you could reset and re-fix the buildings one at a time and maybe that would reveal the issue.

Again I'm sorry. I've been where you are three different times. I know how it feels.

When this is finally resolved please post what resolved it.

There is also the issue sometimes where you finish and item to just the last 'dot', but then back out. From then on the item doesn't show red in the Engineer's Sight. The only way to tell is to hover near it & you will see the 'repair' prompts (& remaining dots).

Several possible issues:

1. Do you remember receiving the "neighbors appreciate your work for X building" prompts on each building?? If any question on one of the buildings then that is most likely the one needing something to be finished. For example the grain silo.
   
2. Some items do not display red, unless close to them with the Engineer's Sight.
   
3. Some interior walls of the house are often missed such as the bathroom walls or kitchen walls.
   
4. Interior parts of chicken house, to include the end eaves, just above the walls on each end.

I understand you may have already gotten some of the above mentioned items, but I have listed them since often missed, by players.

One last possilbe issue, is that to finish the quest you only need to "repair" the structures. No "upgrading" is required. I only ask this in case you have been using any tool other than the "repair" tool (F1 or TAB & "Nail It" gun/trowel/grinder). I don't know if you will get the 'proper' Engineer's Sight prompting if use any other materials tools. (unsure???)

It looks like i have repaired everything, all the buildings (got info about appreciation), fences, playground and still task is not finished

Press TAB, then press "farm statistic" in the lower right.
Then look at the topleft table. There you will found what buildings are missing for compleating "home sweet home".
If all of them are mark as "yes" than it is a bug, if some is "no" - then go to check whether everything is repaired.

It working only for this quest, because you need to repair all buildings at the farm and there it is shown their status ;-)

for me last two spots - house - 1. wooden floor on attic (on second floor stairs in the ceiling and 2. wall in bathroom above bathtub. It was pain to find, but finnished.
