I am curious, what was the symbol above her head prior to the event? Has it changed since the 'marriage'?

Has anyone managed to crack on with Ella from the farm down from the store? I have done some serious complimenting but cant get her to the flowers/chocs stage. I own 10 fields, have a nice home, money in the bank, am popular within the community but she isnt playing ball at all. Is it my limited wardrobe & chat up lines!

I originaly chose a close-by female to court, but ended up basically the same as you. I believe the main problem was that I never got a quest for this lady, & such did not get the big boost that quests provide.

After that, I chose one of the beginning quest ladies, & it was much easier to get her to change 'status' over time.

Thanks, I did wonder if I was wasting my time. Shame because she is a relative minx. I might carry on working her, whilst trying my luck with one of the rough birds!

I've never seen a symbol over there head, heard about it but not seen it. And my wifes name is Ella. Also had a son today named Timmy.

You have to hold down the right mouse button when you look at them to see the symbol, just like you do when looking to see the ! for possible jobs.
