Old seeder superior to new one?
So I tried hooking up the old seeder to the new tractor, and it allows you to seed at 39 km/h. The new seeder is limited to ~14 km/h. The new seeder is a bit wider and can store more seeds, but that doesn't make up for the speed disadvantage.

Would be curious to see if the outcome of the fields are the same with the different planters. Also, I believe there is a 'bug' with the old seeder, that it will plant seeds in either the raised or the lowered mode?? Often, new players have problems with backing up the old seeder, since they don't realize that it is in the lowered mode.

Agreed not sure why they slowed it down so much, but the dev's have stated all the new equipment helps for a better yeild over all fyi, i don't have time or desire to test this though i already have 9 fields and feel burned out already

Well it shows up as "100%" seeded, and the texture changes uniformly, though I haven't compared the yields. I think only the harvester affects the yield (old one produces less grain and more straw).
The old manure spreader won't give full coverage if you drive too fast, but this can be seen in the texture and statistics for the field.

The solution would be to require the old seeder to be lowered in order for it to plant. ~14 km/h is a more realistic speed than 23 or 39 km/h.
