I fertilized after I ploughed
Is this going to mess up my crop? I think i was supposed to fert with manure before I ploughed. I have 6 fields that I have ploughed already. Will putting the manure on afterward help or hurt my crops?

I think it is not affected even after sowing. Well until they start growing?

I don't think ir really matters when you put on the fertilizer &/or slurry. Just as long as not added over a growing crop, which will then do damage (mostly from driving over a growing crop).

I am currently plowing then fertilizing, then cultivating (to work it into the soil - as if IRL).

Check out this forum, where other players have been tabulating the information they found from changing the inputs for commodities, to see how the outcomes are affected.

Im ploughing, cultivating, fertilising, manure then sow, Is this the wrong way then as I just followed the line the field stats show?

Yes I don't think there is actually a 'wrong' way. Just like I stated previously, don't fertilize/slurry after crop is growing, since will damage crop with equipment.

The game mostly seems to track the percentage of procedure done (ie..plowing, fertilizer, etc..). I have only seen a note if I cultivate before plowing. But, even then I belive it still goes towards the total percentage cultivated. Those percentages are really what is 'important', since they are used in the 'formula' to calculate the final yield.

One future game 'mechanics' that I would really like to see added is to have a variable for crop growth. Such as if bad weather (too much rain/too little rain, wind damage etc...), or excessive pests &/or weeds in the fields. This variability would make the game have more realism. But, that said, I would probably like to have those variables on a slider option, so that players could select the level of "realism" they would like to play the game as.

I appreciate the comments as I was worried I really screwed up. Alot of what I have read changes. Some say manure before plow then cultivate then fertilize then sow. I will stick to Mercks suggestions but I think i will try cultivating then adding slurry/ fert then on another field I will try adding slurry then cult then sow and see if it makes any kind of difference. I'm guessing/ hoping not.

I read somewhere that I had to put the manure before returning the earth, I tried to do it in game, but it is difficult to see the advance on the ground.
