you need to get your own grubber for that, by your barn.
when you finished that, she will say the plow is yours.
and you'll need that plow, it's the only one to work with the old tractor.
it would even be hard to get enough money to buy the new one, if you hadn't the old, but in the end you cannot even connect the new plow to the old tractor. the old trac is much to weak to handle the big new plow.
This is the field, i plowed it, at least i think i did, it looks plowed to me honestly, and she still didnt send a message. What am i doing wrong?
So, just to be clear : you have to plow the edges and the gaps too.
I have some more questions if thats okay, i can repair doors with metal, is this required or is it a preference? (metal doors over wooden doors), and can i do this with anything else? like the wooden roof i repaired? And why do i still have 24x metal when ive repaired the greenhouse and fences, why doesnt it go down?
Metal vs Wood is a personal choise. If you buy wood planks at the store you can change them to "new wood doors" any tiume you want.
Repairs are free (no cost for materials), basically you are using old boards & matieals found at the work site. Upgrades currently cost $10 per skid & have unlimited materials. This is only temporary, due to the Devs setting it so that us players can try out the various items at this early stage of the game (for bug testing, & other reasons). But costs will be raised & skids will have limited materials in the future (as the game evolves).
For hauling the grain to the elevator, you can use either grain wagon. Both the old & new wagons can be pulled by either tractor. Note; You don't have to drive just on the roads! I drive pretty much anywhere I want (except for planted fields). The map isn't really that big, or take too long to travel.

He asks you to do some repair work on his buildings. Just take the tractor by itself, so that you can pull the wagon back to the farm.
Also, note you don't want to 'overfill' the wagon with commodities, since any extra just spills. I think it holds 4,200kg at 100%. So just stop filling before that point.
1. Do i get food for animals for the first time or do i have to buy it? (i read on the beginner guide that i get 1000kg or such for the first time?)
2. Veggies and such from the greenhouse, do i sell them separately? (like, i keep them in the inventory and sell them at the guy down the road?)
3. I have some chickens and i bought food but i dont know if and how and where to put the food for them, or does that happen automatically? Same for cows (which i dont own yet, but my question stands)
4. How do i make bales of hay for cows to eat?
5. Do i need to keep some of my crops or can i just sell them all?
2 - Yes, you sell them to John (the market near your farm, in front of the bus stop.
3 - Animals food is automatic, just keep it on stock.
4 - You need the baler, you will get it on a quest after you get the trailer and some other machinery.
5 - Sell them all, you can keep them, don't need to, there is no reason since no animal needs it and prices don't change so no need to sell it later to earn more money.

I posted all the "help text notes" that are displayed while the game is loading. Also, talking to many of the NPC's, they often have an option to give you tips for farming.
Along, with the RMB (Engineer's Sight), which as this help text states; "Use your Engineer’s Sight often. It will provide useful information about buildings, fields, vehicles and objects.".
And yes I did mean crops & grains, when I said commodities.
