Problem with Custom CX tractor.
I saved up my money to buy the Custom CX tractor, the most expensive tractor, to replace my Jack Bear. I am trying to do my first plowing with this new tractor using the old, default plow.

I can hardly steer the thing. The back end seems to slide left and right as I move around the field. Steering with the keyboard, the front tires seem reactive to my instructions, but the rear tires continue to slide either to the right or the left. Even when I seem to be going in a straight line, the back tires are always misaligned to the right or the left. Often it continues to go straight, even with the front tires turned.

I also tried V, gear box change. That only makes the tractor go either faster or slower. It also seems to drive fine on the road. It also seems to steer fine when just driving around the field with the plow up. It's only when the plow is down does it not steer properly.

I have noticed this to a lesser extent with the earlier shop bought tractors. It seems that the physics of the plough, (weight and drag), are being over-exaggerated. Similarly, the front end weight of the tractor is lower than the Jack Bear due to more power on the rear wheels, causing the front to lift and lose traction.

It does seem to me that they have left the weight and dynamics of the model the same as the Jack Bear, but not taking into consideration the additional power output that would affect the physics of it.
It does appear to me that the front end appears to need more weight. Unfortunately extra weight is not available in this game, as in Farming Simulator.

As it stands now I see no alternative but to stop playing. It takes longer and is frustrating to try to plow with the new tractor. I tried to buy back the Jack Bear, but the price has doubled from what I sold if for and I can't afford it, or even want to take the financial loss of buying a lemon.

Have you tried to change the gearbox to CVx2 setting? Doing this seems to reduce the drifting of the tractor quite a lot. In earlier games I only used the Lindner tractors and it worked pretty good even with the medium plow. Also I recommend you to use the tempomat function (don't know if this is the correct term in english) while plowing

So the game has been updated and released, but still my expensive tractor still acts like I'm plowing a frozen lake, sliding and not turning.

I guess being able to plow isn't as important to a farming sim as I thought.

Often when doing any jobs it is advisable to use the Cruise Control - (default T). This helps a lot when operating various pieces of equipment.

In the past there also seemed to be a "directional bug", which caused the plowing to be much harder when traveling from west to east. I would avoid traveling that direction when plowing as much as possible, & then usually have very little troubles when plowing.
