Is it possible to get a wife at the moment?

I have Janet with a red heart above her head, yet its still not possible to "gift" her anything, and im wondering if anyone else has managed to actually progress to the point of asking someone to marry, or if this has not been implemented in the game yet.

Apparently in the game, but very long process. Dev's did state that they were going to modify that a bit, to make it a little easier.

Did you visit Janet frequently and speak with her, or do your regular social points come in to play with this. I attempted to be-friend Zoe and or Lylia and left the Jack Bear over there so I could visit regularly, but they both started playing Hide and Seek with me so I could not get and reaction out of either. Help. I have moved another vehicle over to the farm so I can transport back and forth to try to get this moving along. Thanks.

I just now discovered that If I held down RMB you get a happy face with interactions. This may help others. Its these small actual buttons that I'm not familliar with as I never gamed much before. Many things are assumed. Thanks and happy Farming.

if your on a controller bumpers are at your index fingers on the top triggers are below that and there is switchs in the thumbsticks press the thumb stick in to the controller then you have the d pad the thing that looks like a +

on keyboard mouse its alot more self explanatory

Been courting Leila seriously, I parked a vehicle out side of her farm and I drop in several times a day and tell her how beautiful she is, several times ( up to as many as 3 to 5) each visit, in two (real) days I went from a yellow face with no smile to a green happy face . been doing that for a couple days (real days) and have just discovered her out front of her farm at my tractor waiting for me twice in two in game days. Humm interesting, Just sharing for those interested, I ask about other things as well in our conversations. FYI.

Add on I have been continuting to court her several times a day, she now waits for me at the front of the yard until 8pm before giving up and going in the house she has a Green smiley face with open smile now, and is very fond of me, I tell her she is beautiful and wonderful many times a day now.

Her smile is nice and big and her eyes are now the shape 0f hearts on the green happy face, she actually followed me down the driveway to speak with me, and still frequently waits at my vehicle. (Next real day). Don't think we will be able to gift anytime soon?... My social points are 125,600 plus. All I can do is plow and work for others. That part is great.

It is now Jan23rd and I have only missed 4 to 5 days of playing (in about June/July of year two in the game) I finally got a heart over her head, but it will go away on occasion just like in real life, I had it for several days in off line mode then it dissapeared and had to play 3 or so more days to get it back. I wonder if anyone has been able to gift yet or marry???

I heard but I am not sure... Your social points, and wealth has an affect on how far you can get a relationship with someone so if it is low it may stop progressing.

i still havnt managed to get her to marry me yet. Im thinking the weath part is having a big impact. i started talking to a second person as well, dropped below 100k and went from green freind face back to yellow face. Janet is still red heart, but isnt changing.
Im just about to harvest, so see how much impact a bigger bank balance has on them lol

Ok. So i went from under 100k and yellow face with Grace back to Happy green face with bank balance above 150k the next day. I havnt talked to Janet, she went walkabout. I still have a bit more harvesting to go so will see what extra impact more money makes.
