Here is what the Sell point looks like when inside the Ag Market:

Once near enough a prompt will display about entering the Bale Market
I have even been able to access the Bale market from outside the fence of this complex, which is slightly easier to access.
I personally sell all at the begining of game, since is a pretty good income ($150/bale). Later some can be used for feeding cows, since each bale adds 200kg of feed to their stock (just drop inside the cow shed).
Both chickens & cows start with feed in their respective buildings (100kg for chickens - 1,000kg for cows). This will last a pretty good amount of time. Chickens (10) use 1kg per day. Cows (9) use 27kg per day. So you can see that there is enough feed for them to last a while.
Later use bales to feed the cattle since most likely cheaper than buying feed at the Ag market. Still have to purchase feed for chickens since I don't believe there is any way to use grains you harvest, at this time.
