but if you want to have food, buy chicken and cow, like this in each morning you will have 30 egg and neer 30 milk too, it's enough for one day...,
more late in the futur they will have apple, mushroom, ect...
This is the order of activities I do when I start a new game. I find it works well and keeps me going whilst I go to do jobs each day.
===================================================================
After Oliver has gone home concluding the intro:
• GREENHOUSE
Finish rebuilding - not repair.
Wall frames & appex, roof & roof windows, window opening levers, door, seed shelf, tables.
It is now reading to sow seeds.
• HENHOUSE
Repair the doors, walls, roof, internal framing, nesting boxes, roosts, fence & gate..
A rebuild can be done at a later date.
The better conditon of the henhouse = more eggs each morning.
Now ready to get hens.
Run to the AG STORE, cutting across fields as needed. Doesn't take long.
BUY
• 10 hens. Don't buy food yet. There is 100kg at the farm.
The hens will now be in the henhouse when you return home.
You will get approx 20 eggs each morning.
• I'll buy cows later on.
• Tomato, zucchini, pumpkin seedlings. Each pcs = 1 tray = 2 plants = 2 fruits/veg.
There are already 10pcs of toms in the greenhouse shelf.
I buy approx 10pcs of zucs & pumpkin to start with, but that's up to you.
RETURN HOME
Plant seeds in the greenhouse. 7 trays per table.
They will take (31?) days to harvest.
I will now go to Olivers farm to fix his barn to gain the tractor.
Busy day!
Now each morning there will be more than enough eggs to keep going whilst doing other jobs like repairing the farm and going to do quests.
Until the eggs are layed I am sustained on the contents of the pantry and inventory. I don't want to waste money buying things I can do without for now. Want to save as much money as possible to upgrade my farm equipment (tractor first).
Repairing the greenhouse with the grinder gets you the same number of Social Points as rebuilding with sheet metal. It might have an effect later, but it doesn't seem to matter in the beginning.
Doing rebuild instead of repair saves a lot of time so that I can get on with other things. Haven't noted any consquences of missing the repair phase.
Yeah, I don't see the point of doing it either, I just experimented to see if either option made a difference. I am assuming that repair materials will become a limited quantity somewhere along the line and I will want to have that sheet metal in hand rather than used on the greenhouse.
If the developers made repairing give fewer social points than rebuilding while allowing you to save the materials for a later project, at least it would be a decision that you made rather than a choice without consequence.
Getting the greenhouse to produce vegatables.
Getting the chickencoop produre eggs.
Buy at least one cow (they will produce milk in barels)
Dont sell your eggs to a trader when you can use them by your own..
You gett less money for it at a trader, but have to spend more when buying from him..
Buy mostly the cheaper food from the trader.
Buy less quantity when something is more expensive.
Dont buy to much to chickens from the start.. 6 chickens would already produce the same amount eggs like 10 chickens.. If you getting more money then buying 2 more and more chickenfood.
First use the seeds in the greenhouse which are already available... When got more profit, go buying more seeds (dont buy to much) only which you can use directly.. (dont keep to much in stock (you can buy later more when needed)
how to get food???
when did new food arrives the store near at my house?
btw, of course
