Help with tutorial!

Started a new game. Cannot put any scaffolding in my barn as requested by Oliver - they appear as red-, so I cannot finish the tutorial. Tried to save and reload the game, fixed anything. What can I do?

I know how to place scaffolding, it is my second game. Tried to put them outside in the yellow marker (engineer sight). However, the scaffolding appear as red (not placeable).

I'm having trouble too. After I build the scaffold there is no ladder to get on. This is at Oliver's house. At my own barn, I got the scaffold up with the ladders included. Then on top of the barn, I could fix roof holes but as I fixed one it made another. Apparently I need new boards ?? So what's up with the ladder at Oliver's barn?

to have the ladder you need to place the scaffolding more neer the side of the building, if they have no ladder it's because this place are more to put sucha as an extention of the scaffolding, so when you have it in your hand, move along the building and neer the corner of the building they will make appear the lader, (not in the center of the building, and don't put it in front of a door to block this door...

We'll double check the scaffolding code. It normally goes red when the vehicle is nearby, but it seems to not be the case here, right? Did you try restarting the game/PC?

Not the PC (I think it should not affect anyway), but I did restart the game. There was no vehicle near, as I was just below the barn with Oliver at the side.

Did the whole scaffolding go red, or just the part of it? Initially there is one vehicle inside the barn that interferes with one or two initial scaffolds (we'll move it out).

It was the complete scaffolding to be placed (yellow when using the inspecting tool, red when approaching).

Sorry for not being clear, I meant just one scaffolding, or all around the house? If one compete scaffolding, it was probably due to vehicle. If the whole building around, it would be something else.

Scaffoldings were red all around the building, not just one scaffolding in particular (no way to get to the roof).

I had the same issue in that I was unable to place the scaffolding. I ended up testing a new game and it works for me now. since you are only in the tutorial try restarting the game.

That is what I did eventually.

All right, scaffolds are on the "priority list". Should be double checked in the next update (1st Jan week).
