Has this happened in the past with games? The devs ban players from a single player game because they cheated? I get multiplayer, especially competitive games. However, a simulator game, even in multiplayer that is controlled by players, should allow it. (Official type of servers, of course not.)
I have cheated in simulator games, and the great thing is, it hurt nobody else. How I wish to experience a game is nobody's business. 1 of the reasons I have cheated in FS17 was to get a guide out there. If it wasn't so easy to make money in this game, I would do the same here, except I haven't needed to.
Another reason I could see cheating, especially in a EA game is bugs. I have cheated after a save game was killed. To spend 50-100 hours to get to a spot in the game, then to have to start over sucks. We all have done it. We all have been there. Without cheats to get me semi back to where I was before the bug, I have walked away for a while from games.
