I tried some combinations on normal mode.
You need Powerball and a lot of luck to get a very quick and long lasting multiball.
Then you got up to 4 powerballs on playfield.
I got quickly up to 50m with that.
Since you posted in two places, I'll reply in both places as I think it's worth emphasizing so others don't get the wrong idea:
If a score is possible with 3 balls, it's possible with 1 ball. In a typical 3 ball game, having most of the points come from 1 ball is a rather common pinball phenomenon.
That's not to say that cheaters don't exist, but that alone isn't sufficient evidence.
Was this Wild West? That table has a design flaw that allows for very, very high scores (well north of 2B) on a single ball. The longer a single ball is kept alive, the faster the scores go up.
If it was some other table that doesn't have such high global high scores, I'd indeed be quite skeptical, though. If you do see scores you're pretty sure can't be legit, the dev does take them down, so please report it to support@madeofbits.com with the details about which leaderboard it was, which player, and why you think it's not legit.
I glanced and didn't see the score you were talking about in Dailies, so I guess you were referring to Ladder?
In any case cheating is not involved, I don't know how you'd even go about cheating?? And 1.7B is fairly easy to achieve.
