How to use the Dev Console (Basics)

Hello everyone!

For the Friday Build 3 update, I added a small console with some commands to the game. @influenza asked me and I gladly add it.

When I add achievements in the future, using the console will disable them.

How to activate it?

Just press F6 and the console will show up. Same key to close it. You can autocomplete the command with TAB.

Basic Commands

I have coded only a few to test them.

• help (command) Use this command to see more info about other commands.
  
• addItem (itemID)
  
• addMoney (money)
  
• restartTutorial
  
• exitTutorial
  
• printItemName (itemID)
  
  IMPORTANT!
  If you lost your warehouse items, with the Friday build 5 now you can do a backup and load again your items manually. If you slept and your items reset to earlier days, follow these steps
  1. Open the Dev console pressing F6.
  2. Write "backupWarehouse" and press Enter or Tab.
  3. Done.
  If you have any questions, just ask me!

If you want me to include other commands just tell me and I will try my best :D

Awesome, can't wait to test these out. Are you planning on commands for control of health, food, and energy? Like having control for having such a low hp that hunger would be so important. Playing a "risky" game would be interesting.

I just code 3 commands to add or remove current health, energy and food. I can make other 3 commands to control MAX stats. ^^

Hola Davis saludos, me estoy divirtiendo mucho con este juego pero me he encontrado con muchos errores claro esta en su versión alfa es entendible la pregunta es ¿donde los reporto? y ¿cuanto falta para que el juego este en idioma español? si me puedes agregar te reporto los errores que vea directamente

En el apartado de "Bug Report" ahí puedes postearlo ^^
La traducción al español tardará basicamente porque no sé como puedo implementar soporte para más idiomas. Pero estate seguro que lo conseguiré.

i dont understand this console or how to load the tutorial or how to give items to the customer to finalize trade. i accept trade but it waits for me to give items to customer. help me figure this out.

You don't have to use the console to play the game, the console is for me or people that want to test things in the game. To finalize a trade you accepted you only have to give the items by right clicking.

Thanks i guess i missed that tip before just saw it in game. I do understand how to trade now. you comment help me see it. thanks. seems good game so far. and the timer don't seem to bad now that i understand it. i maybe make 100g or more in a few minutes I'm going try explore more options this game and let you know if I find something. :)

You want help testing any the current features of this game? I might be able figure out some things on the console. Just don't know what to test for you. But you may be testing it yourself?

I have more time for this game on weekends.

I might try doing some farming in this game on weekend see how that goes.
