Are there any jump scares or monsters?

I loved the first game, but the whole time the music kept me looking behind me to see if I was being followed, and I was never sure if I needed to hide or if I'd be grabbed from behind.

Knowing in advance would be very helpful for the sequel. You can totally mark answers in spoiler tags, but are there any jump scares to worry about, or monsters I would need to flee?

there is some small form of jumpscare, but more creepy than horror (it's random so you could encounter it)
