Did you side with Amanda Waller?
I did at first, but reading about the horrible ♥♥♥♥ she did in the comics and batman beyond makes me reconsider

I sided with Waller because she does have got some good tech. + She knew your indentity, which made me choose Waller

In this interpretation i find her very reasonable, unlike Gordon.

I feel bad for Gordon but after Waller saved me from getting arrested im more grateful to her than Gordon who even threatened your love interest Cat woman. he's slowly turning into what he hates, but i still dont trust Waller 100%, just a bit more than before

Given the choice I'd prefer not to. I find it extremely stupid that an individual like Batman whos ready for anything got cornered in governtment agency web. This incarnation of Batman is everything against the original : Clueless, extremely careless, doesnt prepare himself for anything at all. Telltale Batman's like a drunkard a***s-clown Tony Stark persona from 1980's IronMan comics.

I feel like they're intentionally trying to make Gordon into the bad guy now, so that more people side with Waller than Gordon.

yes exactly, i think Waller is going to ♥♥♥♥ you over eventually and only those who didnt abandon the bro Gordon will be saved lol
I LOVE Waller.

I mean, she's far more in depth than most people would make her out to be. Keep in mind, that if she truly was someone who would do anything to achieve the greater good, she wouldn't have reacted the way she did failing to secure Riddler's corpse. She panicked, wanted to save her agents' lives.

She wanted to preserve the lives of her agents. That's not something a stone-walled (lol) character with little to no empathy would do.

Not that she is trustworthy though. What fascinates me so much about her character is that though she is far from honest from everyone, she is actually pretty honest to herself. How she perceives issues, herself. She isn't a narcissist. She's had guilt, hesitation, fear and anger. She's one of those characters I like personally: I feel like there's just something relatable to her mild self-loathing that somehow people don't seem to see.

Check out Suicide Squad's rebirth of Amanda Waller. NOT the New 52 version where she is made like a skinny blowup doll (destroyed the total purpose of her icon: you DON'T need to be conventionally attractive or "sexy", or having physical muscle to be ruthless and intimidating). Also, even with her weight and size, she has some combat and mostly arms experience, so she isn't completely helpless either way. She's highly intelligent too. She's the only one in power I know of that figured out Bruce's identity on her own, without needing Bruce's help. And she DOES have humanity: she isn't a villain. Something that I feel like some versions like that one Arkham animated movie screwed her up big time.

The ONLY others I can think of is Ra's, Talia, and Batman's allies in the Justice League. Those are all powerful figures and metahumans, but I would say Justice League very lightly since not everyone was aware that Bruce was Batman.

It's also worth to say that I do like Waller, but there are still obviously things she is witholding that will be effed and conflicting. There's absolutely no way that the Bat won't clash with her first. While Amanda is honest with herself, she isn't with others as I said. Which is why I chose to ally with Gordon.
In Rebirth, she did sympathesize with some of her members of the Suicide Squad too, like Katana, Enchantress and Killer Croc (and Quinn to an extent). She is human and critical of others flaws. She doesn't see them as COMPLETELY deranged. And she seems like she does put quite more trust in them than she should at times.

The only reason I had for siding with Gordon is that I'm not exactly worried about Waller being pissed off when crossing her. She knows she can't just out Bruce since he's way more valuable than just shouting his identity through the microphone.

I don't want an ally and close friend to turn against me, especially since the Bat himself said "he and the GCPD" know Gotham City more than the Agency ever will. Plus it'd be a MUCH bigger mess if I turned on him. I prevented John in whacking Bullock with a crowbar, as to lessen as much damage as I can relationship wise.

My Batman doesn't like being pushed around - and it was very clear to me all of episode one that that's what she was trying to do. Plus, my Batman disagrees strongly with her methods. She's come across as very cruel and vindictive in every appearance I've seen her in, and I don't think someone like that should be in charge.

Gotham is HIS city. Not hers. And I'm pissed she took control over Gotham's crime, because I prefer Gordon. So right now I'm stonewalling her. I want her to learn a lesson - Batman giveth, and Batman taketh away.

Another thing i find fishy about Waller is whenever something horrible is revealed about the agency's past she just goes '' Oh yea i wasnt working there back then so i just tried to cover it up ''

yup me too, i think the game is making it hard for us to support Gordon because he will save you in the end from Waller's betrayal

Well Waller makes it clear to Bruce/Batman that he may have to do some things he may not be proud of as well as using bad people to do good things.

This clearly sums up what this season involves. You do one thing to appease one person but piss somebody off at the same time. Guardians of the Galaxy telltales does the same thing like siding with Rocket instead of Drax or Gamora for example

I'm not a fan of Waller's methods, but gave her the benefit of the doubt and went along with her plan because she at least had one (Gordon seemed to be at a total loss on how to proceed). That being said, I am honestly irritated by this overblown conflict between the GCPD and the Agency. They have a common enemy, so why can't they work together, using whatever resources they have available? It's not like the police have never employed undercover agents before. I really wanted the option to tell Gordon when he mistakenly thought Bruce Wayne was behind everything that Wayne's working undercover (Waller would have been furious about it, but whatever), however, the opportunity simply never came.
