Did you side with Amanda Waller?
I did at first, but reading about the horrible ♥♥♥♥ she did in the comics and batman beyond makes me reconsider

No, I don't like her.

I did, but unintentionally. Way I saw it, my best option to get info was to go through the riddler's lieutenant. I'm not here to suck up to Gordon or Waller, I'm here to do my job and take down criminals. I didn't beat him however, so hopefully that'll count for something in the long run.

Amanda Waller is a great character. Usually she's shown as the hardass who doesn't take ♥♥♥♥ and will crush anyone to get what she wants, but there's always a better side to her. She isn't generally bad or destructive without reason, and her manipualtion is always aiming for something worthwhile.

Gordon to me is pretty dull, we get it you're a good cop in a corrupt city, whatever.

I personally want to side with Waller given the option, the only reason we've been given in the series to not trust her is that Gordon doesn't like her. Obviously it's going to be a main theme of the series that siding with one means alienating the other, especially given that interrogating the lieutentant without violence still somehow pisses off Gordon, but both of them ultimately want the same thing, so it should be fine either way.

Honestly, she's not classically "nice," but I think she's far more interesting to team up with.

i wanna team up and dont wanna team up with waller for 2 main reasons

1- I read what she did during Arkham Assault by just dropping huge bombs on everywhere with rebels. I good maybe look past that but hiring an assassin to kill Terry's parents so he could become tough like batman?? that one went too far for me

2- the reason i do wanna help her out is because she's right ; Gordon and the GCPD are the most useless crap in the world. You could send 40 of them to handle 3 thugs and they'd fail

I read Batman/DC comics at least weekly so I stonewalled her at every turn. Never really liked her.

waller might be a neccesary evil though

I work with her to get to Riddler (but still support Gordon when Waller tried to blame him for everything). IMO Batman should do everything he can (even some questionable stuffs, just not to the extend of most anti heroes) to ensure justice is done and for now Waller seems to be a better option. She is questionable and my Batman has his guard up. It's just both using each other.

And Jim Gordon is so dull and boring in the game. Screw doing the right thing etc. My department hates Waller so you don't work with her!!!!

Well if you read the comics you'll find out there's a rational reason behind Gordon's hatred for Waller, which is 100% justified. But that doesn't mean much to me because telltale batman has their own interpretation of Batman and its universe which retcons everything including the comics,so we can't really use the comics to make a decision

My only problem with Gordon is that him and the GCPD have proven to be absolutely ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ useless. Those guys can't handle 2 thugs. I mean if they sent in 10 members to handle one guy with a knife they'd fail

waller is a ♥♥♥♥♥ but i have another save game to see what the results are if you sidewith her, even though you know its not the right thing to do

I didn't side with at first since all that Gordon did for me but seeing a new side to her and how she then stood up for me so I am starting to side with her now even though I feel bad for Gordon.

She's not that bad of a character in this game though I disliked her in the suicide squad arkham asylum movie.

Waller is Waller, she is cold but at least she believes in something beyond herself. Her characterization seems the same in this game, as in the comics. She served Luthor as president, but she will side with her country and her people if anyone threaten her even the "president". Same with Gotham, she sees the greater "good" and will let Arkham and its inmates rot, including the staff, if that means saving millions.
I think she is a cynical, cold hearted woman, and more of a pragmatist than Batman, but at least she isn't fully evil. She believes in protecting the innocent.
The difference between her and Batman is that Waller can take those immoral choices and don't feel guilty about it. If it would be up to her she would have killed the Joker a long time ago. While Batman wouldn't.
In a way, I think Batman is more human than her, and takes the value of life more seriously. Both beliefs in my opinion are flawed. But that's what makes us human, all of our beliefs are flawed, there is no such thing as an universal moral "truth" because its all subjected to our feelings on the matter.
