[EPISODE 5 SPOILERS] Joker choice at the end
I just finsihed ep. 5 and during the bit where it was going through my choices it said " Me and __% of players defeated vigilante Joker". I was left very confused after seeing this. Could Joker have changed during ep. 5 if I didnt side with him? I am just curious if anyone can explain this. :bbtcat:

I know that but I'm talking about what does it mean when it says I "defeated Vigilante Joker"
It means that you trusted Doe when he utterly murdered all of the agents in episode 4.

If you didn't trust him, he turns into villain joker, or what you know as regular joker, and you get a chapter entirely different, try it restarting episode 4 and on the fifth chapter, tell him you don't trust him

You either defeat "vigilante Joker" (fallen friend) or "villian Joker" (this is what you get if you don't trust John in ep. 4 in the Funhouse or on the bridge). I don't think there is an option to NOT defeat him.

There are two 2-hour stories for episode 5. The story you get depends on whether or not you trusted john at the funhouse.

Telltale outdid themselves with this one.
Oh great it's Tony Mar 27, 2018 @ 11:04pm
Not only do you get a whole different joker you get a whole different (more brutal) Ep 5 if you choose not to trust him in the funhouse in EP4
