An anti-hero does good with less than noble methods.
Villanueva is an American football player.
so thanks also quick thing and might be spoilers is vigilante joker gonna be batman sidekick and nemesis at the same time? (sorry if that spoiled you)
Mr. Freeze in his introduction in TAS is a good emaple of an anti-hero. He doesnt' want to do any harm, or even commit any crimes, for greed or anything like that. He only wants to avenge his wife's death (yeah I know, but he didn't know that), and punish the man responsible. However he is willing to do what ever it takes to do that. He is willing to commit crimes, and doesn't care who gets hurt in the process. His cause might be justified, but his methods show no reguard for innocent lives or the law.
Batman is a vilgilante. He's not a cop, and technically breaks the law. However, he does try to work in the interest of protecting innocent lives. He tries his best to work in a way that punishes criminals, but does not caue harm to the public, and might even allow the justice system to get a crack at his targets.
well darn
i was expecting he gonna be a enemy/sidekick to batman (like red hood)
