Now, if seeing him again on the rooftop and being dealt with by a simple anchor is what you're getting at, then yeah I can see the disappointment. The problem is that Bane alone can deal with Batman and John, so taking him out of the fight, especially since he already had his big moment in the opening minutes, allowed for Harley and Selina to get some licks and dialogue in.
Wasn't disappointed with him at all. He was a consistent threat and could easily kill Bruce/Batman on his own. The only thing I'm really sad about is switching his venom out with the sabotaged one meant nothing, but hey, that's Telltale.
