Joker Question (spoiler episode 5)
I did my best not to fall out with Joker out of curiosity sake, and after all I still fought the "Viligante" Joker... game wouldn't let me just let him kill Waller so I'm curious what is the actual way of going with the "Second Joker" ending.

This somewhat disappointed me as well. It feels like all the choice and consequences stuff takes a very hard hit on the nose from the apparent hard-wiring of plot elements like "The Joker has to turn at least a bit evil" and "You have to spare Waller's life." Waller is... in my opinion... one of those people that Batman could pretty much handwave it if he lets her fall to her death or something. Maybe feel bad he couldn't save her for a while, then move on. He could stop Vigilante Joker from killing her, but then she'd try to jump them from behind and end up falling in the vat of chemicals? Something like that would have sat a lot better with me after all the time I spent trying to be a friend to the poor unstable chap. And then Waller could come back... as Slime Lady! Or something. Which would totally fit her personality... xD

I mean, the lady uses fricking shock collars to literally enslave criminals, including Catwoman who actually has a moral compass, to become her personal hit squad? That's kind of well past the moral event horizon... o.O;

I was pretty happy with how it turned out. I went the vigilante route also and felt that even though Waller was an enemy, Batman would try his best to stop her being killed because of his code. The aftermath of that is that she gets off scott free but the stalemate where they both have leverage over each other makes that work fine for the story. Also, I considered my version of Batman seeing Waller as severely misguided, unethical, and dangerous, but still wanting to do things for "the greater good" rather than just being evil.

As far as I can piece it together if you go the other route with Joker, he and Harley team up and start terrorizing the city and Joker captures Bruce's friends/allies and puts him through a funhouse terror kind of thing before you end up subduing him. In the end I don't think anyone dies no matter what but it does look like episode 5 is actually very different depending on the ending of 4.

To anwser original question - simply don't believe Jhon Doe killed the Agents in self defence near end of Episode 4. Or threathen to turn him in if you do believe. Most likely also siding with Waller at bridge works.

And my humble opinion, Villain Joker path's better written than vigilante Joker path.

Vigilante Joker is the good ending (In my opinion) because it opens up the path of friendship for later seaons, kinda like a joker & batman are on the same team. Villain Joker is basicallly what it turns out to be in comics/movies and all that, where joker is your sworn nemesis and you cant live without eachother.

Well we've been friends and fought together until the end :/ I kinnda knew that Joker ain't gonna be a "Hero" at the end but it was fun to pretend that It can somehow happen, I think there will be a season 3 with Joker in it.

If you quit Batman, there is the final scene where you visit him in his cell..

That scene happens if you tell John that you thought of him as a friend.
