why most of u guys felt betrayal about Catwoman??(spoiler)

i mean, yes of course she betrayed us once when we try to take the USB stick, but its just one time, and that's all. also she has her own reason for acting like that.

if u choose "let jim ambush the Catwoman", and after u show her the inside view of bat cave, she forgive your action and even say "thanks" to you. i think this is the best choice i can make.

after that moment, she support you at least end of the episode 3.

so how you guys are thinking about this??

She has her own agenda, and Batman has his. You can't expect loyalty from her. She isn't Robin, your trusty sidekick. When your goals align she helps, and when they clash she fights you. She is just like a cat, if it wants affection, it will slink up to you and rub against you, but try and hold it against it's will and you are going to get scratched. As long as you can accept this, there is no reason not to be either friends or lovers, just never delude yourself as to the nature of the relationship.

I trusted and sided with Catwoman throughout the entire game. Although she's out for herself, she's inherently good. She wouldn't do anything to Bruce that would cause him harm, hence why i wouldnt trust her with a valuable, yet at the same time id trust her with my life

I choose to stay out of Gordon's way. She's Catwoman, she can take care of herself against some cops, and Gordon wasn't wrong for wanting to do his job. I did however choose to confess and save her from the trio, they could actually put her (or anyone for that matter) in danger.

Do I trust Catwoman to do the right then when she really has to? yes. Do I think she can be trusted with my credi card? Nope lol.

I'm actually satisfied with the way Catwoman can be dealt with, I tought that they were going to go with Wayne being a moron and always having to put up with her crap like in the comics, but it feels odly satysfing being able to repay the treacherous scumbag with her own coin.

Telltale have so cleverly built up Catwoman's character in the way that she's a selfish thief, who basically cares for little but herself. However, at the same time 74% of the playerbase choose to blew their cover, character relationships and basically their lives just to save her because Telltale added in one sweet romance scene. First time round I let her take the blame (and somehow still felt guilty.)

I basically did the same thing you did, OP - I was pi$$ed that she betrayed me yet again during that episode with the USB drive and so after that bull$hit, I said 'you're on your own, bi*ch' - and I let Gordon take her down. When she showed up at Wayne Manor all beat up I wasn't at all sympathetic - this is what you get when you act like that. I was a hard a$$ with her during the conversation and after telling her 'i don't need you, you need me' and she basically caved at that point and gave me the laptop and the thumb drive, I decided to reward her good behavior there by showing her the batcave and I was glad to see she was humble about the whole thing.

I'd basically had enough of her crap after she betrayed me early in that episode.

Some of what you say doesn't apply to me since I elected to say 'i stole the laptop' at the end of the episode, but as far as her betraying you - she ABSOLUTELY betrays you. You might need therapy yourself if you're spinning it any other way in your mind. She handcuffs you to a chair and steals the gear you need in order to keep up the facade you've created to the criminal organization you've infiltrated.

And no, betray means harm you in some serious way. Selina wasn't harming Bruce, she was taking things on her own hands, you can say she was being selfish. But at the end of the day people isn't perfect right? We are all selfish little humans after all.
