Can I play this without having played Season 1?

Hi, I disliked season 1 for several reasons, mainly for the plot and the poor "interpretation" of characters like the Penguin that suddenly looked like a completely normal citizen, not like a mean, overweight, very short man.

But season 2 looks promising so far, so my question is, can I savely play it without having played the first? Can I pick the most important choices from S1 or will they probably screw me over with random choices?

you can play season 2 without playing season 1, but you might not follow some of the story points along the way, it also carries over your save from season 1 for the choices you made, but just like they did with TWS season 3 you can pick answers to make your own without having played the first season.

It is a totally new story with just some background info so far from season 1, but i would suggest playing season 1 anyway as after the first episode it was a brillant opener to the new series. If you still chose not to play it then yes you can play season 2 without having played the first one :)

Thanks a lot for your answer! Since there's a huge discount right now, I decided to give Season 1 another chance, maybe I'll end up liking it more as the story progresses. It kinda sucks if I won't be able to understand some things, so yeah :]

i think its worth playing though, espcially for your relationships to be carried over and to know how you want to play certain people in the new season, dependant on what you do in season 1 :)
