There are different ways to do it -

1. If you are playing the next season on the same console you played the previous season on (pc, xbox, ps4) then it should automaticaly find your previous save

2. If you are playing it cross-console or it just doesn't detect your previous save, sign into both games using the same telltale account, then your progress will be saved to the telltale cloud. Hopefully when you launch up the sequel it will just automatically connect and resume your progress

3. If neither of these things work, try contacting Telltale suport or just start a new save file. If you start a new one, you will get a survey asking you to chose (again) all the important choices from the first season, so hopefully the next season will follow (roughly) from where you left off.
