Please restart Steam and retry.

Otherwise, please post your configuration:

1. Press the keys Windows Start (bottom left) and 'R' from the keyboard to open the 'Run dialog box' and type: DXDIAG
2. Click the button 'OK'.
3. Post the Windows version (Operating System:), processor model (Processor:) and the amount of RAM memory (Memory:) under the tab 'System'.
4. Click the tab 'Display'.
5. Post name of the graphics card (Name:) under 'Device' and the driver date (Date:) under 'Drivers'.
6. Click the tab 'Audio'.
7. Post the name of the audio device (Name:) under 'Device' and the driver date (Date:) under 'Drivers'.

It might also help to check that everything downloaded correctly. See https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=2037-QEUH-3335 (Verify Integrity of Game Files).

Windows 8.1 9600 compilation. AMD Fx 9590 (8 cores @5ghz) 32gb RAM
Geforce gtx1080 Drives 387.92 (23.21.13.8792 in dxdiag) date 06-10-2017
Presonus 24.4.2 "soundcard" ( firewire mixing console) date 6-9-2013 ( is the lastest released driver)
Tried to launch in asus vg248q 144hz 3d monitor in 3d vision mode.
Owner of "old" spintires, works flawless in the same machine.
Checked firewall when game start, allowed first connection when game start to focus interactive servers and created rule to allow all network connections.

Thx in advance ;)

Thx a lot, checked integritym found a bad file, downloaded again and works as a charm, BTW 3d vision mode works almost perfect ( only tested a couple of minutes) the only little issue is a old one in previous spintires version, the UI is only showed in one eye, but adjusting convergence you can put in two eyes with minor glitches, not a big deal but probably if you tell Pavel, he knows how to fix it. (same issue was present in old spintires and fixed from a long time ago) :D

Please uninstall then reinstall all Microsoft Visual C++ librairies.

The different versions and components will be listed in Programs and Features.
Open Programs and Features from the Windows Control Panel.

A. Uninstall everything that starts with "Microsoft Visual C++.".

B. Download and install all of the following:

NOTES:
Please note that only the x86 versions will work on 32-bit systems and you should install both the x86 and x64 versions on 64-bit systems.
The file names for each download are the same, so be sure to not overwrite a prior one before installing it.
Download one, install it, then download the next, install it, etc.

I have also tried everything suggested, game still crashes when launched. It'll start on my laptop for some reason. Same happens with another game, dark messiah of might & magic, cannot launch on my gaming rig but will launch on my laptop. Really weird.
