How do you install mods manually?

I want to install this, but I don't know where to put the textures or the _m file that are in the download file.

Where do I put the _m folder and textures folder?

no i downloaded a truck to get but I have to put the files in manually

this will mess up you multiplayer it wont let you use it after changing the files
take your Oshkosh_M1070_HET_mudran file and place it in you mudrunner directory where MudRunner.exe is located should be C:Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Spintires MudRunner
then look for Config.xml
right click on it and open with notepad or notepad ++ and add this line
<MediaPath Path="Oshkosh_M1070_HET_mudran" />
paste it in right below
<MediaPath Path="_dlc_ridge.zip" />
save the file, if you did it right the truck should show up in game to pick

It doesn't show on spintires mudrunner. I closed the program and reopened

there is no billboards picture of the truck in your files so the game cant see it
