Here's a pretty solid map that is not too long:
http://www.mudrunnermods.com/object-13-map-v08-06-18/
It's small, simple, and very well designed. Probably the best map I have found yet.
Although, it might depend on your play style. I never start a map with a truck, I always use my choice of c-class vehicle (usually the A-496) and then use whatever trucks I find on the map. For me, this map was a lot of fun.
Boothbay Harbor is another really good one.

It's a bit on the harder-end of the difficulty scale, but it's a pretty cool map with a fun, simplistic design.
Also, do you have the American Wilds DLC? "Grizzly Creek" is a good top-quality map. It's just fun to play in. Relax, take your time, just cruise around on the highway with your log loads. It's an ideal map for playing with the B-130.

It really is top-notch. The creator set the bar high. The only reason I haven't mentioned it earlier is because I was enjoying it too much.
What do you mean disables MP? You can play mods in multiplayer or both and with friends no problem.
But I do most SP lately. If you still are looking for good SP maps (in my opinion), I posted a list over here: https://steamcommunity.com/app/675010/discussions/0/5051317596394096533/
Some are quite long and offer a bit of a challenge, but with sound strategies most are fine with a balanced setup.
But I will say that since I've had a chance to see what multiplayer is like, I can hardly enjoy single player anymore. Multiplayer is very hit and miss because so many players like cheese or "play" on casual mode (as if there is anything left to play when you take half the game away). Also there are very few players who can communicate in english, which is bad for me, personally, since I don't know any other languages. And even when you do find a good game, the host is probably going to quit five or ten minutes into it. But, it's five or ten minutes of heaven.
Back on the topic of single player maps, here is another really nice one that was published just recently.

I actually haven't played the whole thing because I rolled my B130 before I found anything to recover it with, and I was too tired and iritable to restart from the beginning so I just quit right there. But, from the parts of it I saw, it was a very nice map. I will probably give it another try soon.
MudRunner clearly wasn't meant for you to do every single task on a map, it can get frustrating. But I certainly prefer that to having to deal with some of the stuff Gyrant describes. Plus, I just don't have any IRL friends who play the same games as me. Here, that is a luxury unless you play massive mainstream games like PES or GTA V (which I avoid).
Not sure where you got this from?! MudRunner had full workshop support nearly from the start. There are over 1000 maps and none of these will disable MP.

Unless you simply never tried, in which case, now you can be sure.
As you can see from the image, It is exactly as I described in my earlier comment.
@Gyrant: I've probably played 50+ mapmods and never encountered a single one that did not work in MP. Strange that you are having problems (hope you solve it).
