I don't know why it says 6 when you load manually (need just three logs and then pack, btw). I was confused as well. The trailer I use registered 8 points, as described, when I unloaded.

2 Short logs will grant you 6 points and half the headache. IF they would make long logs 8 points worth...that would be motivating.
Otherwise...just do it for the fun of driving a slow, zero-traction truck even slower and with reduced traction. Because if you hate yourself and your life, then why don't go full masochist?

I've only ever used the Ural 4320-41 SVE mod for long logs. 8 points, single trailer, and you can have a crane. Has 2nd crane location option as well. Very nice mod!

its more of a challenge getting through the map with the biggest load possible.

but yeah, its pretty lame that its still 2 trips no matter what (if you don use a mod vehicle that carries 8)

why isnt there any lumbermills that want more than 8 points? say 9 for example, carrying a load of 6 points and one of 3 would make so much more sense then

What i dont like is a truck towing a trailer each with 3 and you cant unload truck and trailer seperately. Wanted to use 2 x short to fill 2 stations but cant unload seperately.

detach the trailer, unload, then re-attach
