Multiplayer with new dlc and no dlc owner

Question is simple, if i have the dlc, can a friend of mine who doesn't own the dlc play with me in the new maps ?

Hi answer is also simple, no , every player needs a local copy of the AW dlc to enable multiplayer

AW was automatically downloaded to all players. Everyone has it on their PCs. If you purchase AW you'll be able to play it immediately without downloading additional files.

I don't have answer to OP's question. But most games download DLCs only after you purchase it (unless it's needed for multiplayer to work properly).

So far i completed both new map without buying the dlc in multiplayer so yes your friend could be able to join even if he doesn't own the dlc.
In his case the new truck will not show up in the list to drive but you still can see them and interact with if someone is driving one.

Sorry but this information isn´t correct. I tried to play the new Chernobyl DLC - with 2 Friends .... they couldn´t join oO

Chernobyl DLC is for Spintires.
