360 Trails / DFW (Trinity River)
I am making a trailing map of that area, and wondering if anyone else here has trailed down there.

I have once, but chickened out before I got very far, heard too many horror stories. I know plenty of folks who have trailed there far more though, if you want me to connect you to some FB groups where you could ask about them.

I use to trail that place every weekend some years ago. I think its ileagl now to go down there. I now go up to the red river vally area. The 360 trail became a nightmare after all the "citys guys" took thier new jeeps there. Yeah new jeeps (stock) with those little tires. I was making a killing off pulling them out with my Chevy truck with a dirty duramax motor.

If your wanting to know what it looks like there are some yt videos and a satalite map. Its nothing more than a river bed.

Cool, we were regulars as well. We would hit it Friday night, and go home Sunday morning...or afternoon usually. lol (Live here in Fort Worth)
It was never legal to go when we did, but Grand Prairie messed with us a lot when we went in on the south side. Started going in off Trinity Blvd on the north side after that.
But yes, the city guys ruined it for everyone, ditching cars and trucks down there, stealing stuff off your truck if you had to leave it for any length of time.

Does any of this sound familiar? We may have been there around the same time.
landcruiser mike

campfire bob
trying to think of some more, we were going regular from the mid 90's to mid 00's.
hell, we may know each other...

I do believe I have heard of this person, campfire bob. It sure does ring a bell anyways. Lived in Fort Worth all my life. Just moved to Gorgia a couple of months ago.

He drove a white mini blazer, or a red and white bronco 2, he and I have been friends for 30+ years.

I had a caged toyota w/ chopped bed, 35 boggers, beat all to crap, good times...
What did you drive? If you don't mind me asking.

I had a cj7. Not to nice looking . that was a real long time ago. Have you ever been to Fort hood? Use to trail out there in the 80s. You had to have a pass but it was fun. Some of those trails were nothing but tank trails with ruts 2 feet deep and 4 feet wide. Here in Gorgia I have found a couple of places to play in the mud.

Haven't been wheeling in Fort Hood, although we were looking at some trailing potential in Kempner (near Copperas Cove), but went to the gun range instead... lol
Only place close to here anymore that's legal is Bridgeport, they took an old rock quarry and the city runs it, it's pretty good. They have competitions out there every now and again.

Hmmm, that might be a good map to make...

Here's a couple of pics from my map that you might recognize from the trails, I hope they're somewhat accurate
