Winch in this game is not a winch known to humanity it is some weird magic line that have its strength and can help in getting out vehicles so no point in arguing if it is electrical or mechanical IT IS MAGIC! xD So game is not realistic! :p
Love this!
Magical > Mechanical > Electrical > Oxen > Horses > Dogs > Small children > Chickens > Cats
You usually have the winch in front or the back, and you can run the line from "points" along the truck, or you drag the line aound objects, and to what ever you are fastening it to, and start the pulling.
So yeah, you can pull a truck in angles, (almost)like in the game.
And about that realism.. No where (official) does it states this game is a realistic truck driving simulator.
This game is a realistic deformation simulator.
That is interesting. Never saw that in vids on YT about offroading but if that is true then ok but still in game we dont see working winch on truck. It is not animated thing SADLY. Not all vehicles in Spintires have winch but still can use this magic gray line ;)
BTW I just wonder why it is gray?!?! Why not black or brown but GRAY? Weird...
If moders was able to add texture for this then why devs were so lazy hmm.

That makes me wonder. Anyway. Can you post some vids about what you mentioned involwing Russian trucks winching from any point on truck and pulling it in angle?
You can check the channel called "Ron Pratt", he rescue vehicles and sometimes when the vehicle to rescue is in a complicated position, he uses hooks to build a path for the winch and be able to pull a vehicle in a different direction than where the winch is actually pulling. It can be done in the case of spintires too, but it's not shown by graphics.

Ok thats your sight. But did you realise other guys dont have your special backround. Ask a profesional racingdriver about the difference to a Racing Sim Game .
"The Red Bull simulator is, of course, handy because it scans all the data from the driver and the engine directly, so the video game is not nearly as close to reality as a simulator, but it's definitely something useful for getting started. "
Quote Sébastien Buemi in Interview with David Stöckli.
I don't drive Trucks offroad. But sometimes i have to carry ca. 3 tones of load on a 4x4 diesel powered Pickup with trailer on offroad tracks or without tracks. And the feeling get nearby to mudrunner. I know there's a lot of differences. But i think thats the point for a sim game, to get a little bit of the original feeling.
It is not what I wanted to see. It is not winching on its own and I meant truck winching itself to the sides. I found what I wanted but it was on offroad cars not trucks. So still I never saw that used on russian trucks.
We gave you plenty of proves (including videos about creative winching) but you don't accept any of them as valid, you spit out a nonsensical excuse on why it's not valid and that's it. It's your personal problem then.
No matter how many proves we show you, you will always tell that they're not valid so further discussion is worthless. Anyone who has a brain cell can watch the videos and draw their own conclusions.
actualy you are the idiot complaining witout typing what you think its bad about spintires
I can't believe you dont think this can be done....I weld tabs all over my EXO cages just for this reason.
