On my map i have a hill that i could not climb at all with a 255 loaded with 6 logs. Edited that place again and made sure to 0-out mud in and close to the hill.
Tried to run up with a 4320 and fuel cistern. No problem.
Then did the same place with same truck with 6 logs, stuck in "mud" fairly quickly. LOL
I dont really mind the dirt-mud thing, but it makes planning a map more difficult.
^ Yep, specifically they made the soil texture much softer. Highwater is almost all soil and it’s really made a difference to the difficulty. I’m just finishing my next map then I’ll revisit Highwater to correct the new sticky soil...
Yeah it’s amazing how badly the heavy/wide wheeled vehicles perform in the sticky stuff
You’re welcome man, I’m glad to see people are still enjoying it even after the update.
Yea. Mine is forest with dirt tracks. I started with soil but changed it to forest a while before the feb. patch. Boy am i glad i did that
Yes! Its more realistic now. Even on what appear hard'ish surface, you start spinning, down you go. I like it now that i know wth was going on
Great map, other maps often feel a bit bland after playing Highwater :)
