The E-7429 truck kinda sucks
Its pretty much worthless without dif lock on and for its size it sucks up a lot of fuel. It needs a tighter dif.

As for me all trucks suck without diff lock. As it costs almost nothing in terms of fuel I just have it enabled all the time (when not in 'red') and have no problems.

Hardcore mode is a different story you can only have dif lock on in 1st or + gear and with dif on all the time it uses fuel like crazy.

You can still use a truck without difflock and allwheel drive, you just need to plan your route to make less use of them and don't smash the accelerator all the time and pay attention to the ground surface like you would do with a real truck or car.

No its not. Its one of the most amazing trucks ingame RN. In adition to its ability to carry a full 8 load points, its better than its counterpart, the other E truck, as it doesnt get stuck on a single rock. And i have never been able to use any of the trucks without using the difflock. The only all wheel drive and difflock are off for me is on solid pavement.

ive had that truck stuck on every dam rock i hit

But how? The only place it ever got trouble for me was in deep water, but then again all other trucks did, so maybe you are doing something wrong?

Aren't they pretty much identical in terms of performance and attachment options? I really haven't noticed any differences. I'll happily drive either if I RNG into them on a map, but given the choice I'd probably pick the 7310 just because I prefer its looks.

I think the 7310 doesnt have the garage semi trailer? but im not sure. They are pretty similar indeed. Its just that the 7310 has a bad habit of getting stuck on rocks for me. Both are pretty useful IMO.

It does! It just has an "advanced trailer hitch" with 200 repair points instead of a separate 200 repair point attachment and regular trailer hitch. A separate repair point attachment that can only be paired with that trailer hitch, so it works out to be exactly the same thing. I would've liked to see the 7429 able to fit C-class attachments behind the repair kit, because I think that could give it some great versatility, but maybe in the future.

After a session with it, yep, it has the same exact attachments. So ive done a litttle further testing.
The 7310 has 400 more "health points" and the 7429 has a bigger ground clearance. The 7429 is also harder to drow/damage when crossing deep water due to its engine being higher.
I would have personaly created something special for it, like a flatbed trailer able to carry smaller vehicles around, or as you said C attachments, but in the end its up to the dev.
Its still my favorite vehicle to use in conjuction with the new A class "jeep", the offroad capability of which is the best when it comes to A class cars.

I don't know about you guys, but I love this truck it's one of my favorite trucks in the game now and a lot better than the 7310

Thanks Bomoo and ^9, I was trying to figure out what was better/worse (and what the "special" ability was), that's some useful info!
