I recommend you to wait and buy that one because it'll be a lot better.

lot of new things
improved weather, new textures, better mud - more challenging, lot of graphics and gameplay improvements
MudRunner won't get any more updates.
MudRunner 2 will be The Game that will be supported by the devs in the future.
yes, ur 100% right
sorry bro but i rather have new devs working on mudrunner 2 with new engine and more passion than be confused by devs who gave up on spintires back in 2016 and gave 0 facks about everyone who bought game and wanted it updated and supported, instead all they got was big F ck you, at least mudrunner devs tried lot of new things with their dlcs and new features and now with mudrunner 2...
btw they dont have real devs they picked out some modders who work on spintires, u can see by poor weather effect and now with this horrendous engine sounds
ATS is good and I like it but it can't compare to Mudrunner. ATS has much simpler physics. In Mudrunner when you go over a rock, not only can you see the rock dent the tire - in several dimensions so it bends it sideways and inwards - the tire also pushes the rock and rotates it in the mud if the wheel is spinning. The chassis bends and twists, and also the cargo. If you go over a bump in the road you can see the logs bending and moving relative to eachother. If your truck is pushing or leaning on a tree, you can see the tree bending and then springing back afterwards. If you go over a bridge it bends under the load.
ATS does nothing of that. The road and other objects are not affected by your truck - except that road signs can be run down. The trailer is perfectly stiff, monolithic you could say. The cabin moves relative to the frame but it is again stiff in itself. There is suspension movement but next time you see a semi on the highway, study the trailer and see how much of the suspension that is done by the frame, even on a flat road.
So whoever Pavel and Ovee are and their relations to eachother, to Spintires and Mudrunner, they have set an example for how any simulator should behave. All vehicle simulators should be like this, be it Farming Simulator, F1, Rally, or a truck simulator. Or trains for that matter. I hope they find a find a way to continue the work and deliver.
Should you buy it? Yes, if you are into this kind of simulation, don't mind parting with a few euros (don't remember the price), and want to support the development. They said Mudrunner 2 should release by "the end of the fiscal year" in March 2020.
Well, it's not that I WANT to get stuck, it's just that... I want it to be a possibility! Part of the challenge... like, you HOPE you don't get stuck, but there is always that possibility if you make the wrong moves etc. Just adds a little more to the game, you know what I mean? So when I read somewhere here that you can't get stuck, i was like... whaaat? But, ok, sounds cool, thanks :)
