Top5 hard maps!
I has been searching for challenge. Ive seen like 100 maps and Ive tested like 25 and only 2 were what i was searching for which is: big, planning demanding, diverse, vertical, hard. with mud not everywhere but only in some places maps.

These are (for LOGGING):

1. silverrocks_imported2016 - It has everything I listed above. Recommended! By far better than default maps. (Be aware tha at one log kiosk there are no medium logs but only short and long). 10/10, Absolute best. http://www.mudrunnermods.com/silvery-mountains-map-hardcore-v1-0/
2. blackwater_canyon - Also very very good but the only aspect which is worse than nr 1 is being less diverse but still these 2 are by far better than anything Ive seen. 9/10. http://www.mudrunnermods.com/blackwater-canyon-map/

3-5 - I have no idea so I need you help. Are there any similar maps? Other maps get boring fast and I rate them max at 6/10.

what about maps that you can download and not have to add a bunch of bloatware nonsense just to get the map... know of anything like that?

all maps? ofc for unknown reasons mudrunner maps are hosted and servers with pop ups full of ads but it is not a problem with an adblocker. just click the dowloand a few times to trigger ads and then you will be able to download the map. there are also russian sides with much less ads but everything is in russian so i posted an english site with maps.

Original Highwater map. http://www.mudrunnermods.com/highwater-map/
You have to start with one jeep and slowly find repair and/or refuel trucks scattered on a beautiful diverse and hard map divided by a river. With only one fuel station every trip can be your last of you risk to much. Unforgiving brutal map. You must try it. Just be sure to play original not highwater 2.0 since 2.0 is nerfed. Terrain is the same (super hard) but truck placement is much easier.

Thanks for the recommendataion on Silver Mountain. Finished Canyon in HC and was looking for something else, neither Highwater2 Spring or The Gauntlet was anywhere near as fun and diverse as Canyon. Silver Mountain seems very promising, almost all cloaks unlocked now :)

I ran the 'easier' version of The Gauntlet, I understand you put a lot of work into it, but the driving got a bit monotone. On Canyon, you do a lot of long driving but it's quite diverse; sometimes you can bomb on and some times you have to be really careful and it had a nice rythm to it? I'm not sure that's very constructive. And I'll check out part 2 :)

Zamal, those are two distinct maps, they only share a common name. @ca6, I really appreciate the feedback, these are the first two maps I've ever created and I'm learning a lot as I go. I'm starting my 3rd map now. I will see if I can figure out a way to mix it up a bit more in this new map.

oh also @ca6, I do like Silver Mountain as well. I played it a bit this morning just to see what other successful maps look like. I really enjoyed the water crossings and some of the more rugged roads. It did start to feel a bit too muddy in too many places after a while. But overall, i think its a great map.
