doesn't have to be there own mod, if he or she doesn't share it
you have to be a rocket scientist to figure out how to actually get the spintires vehicle to even show up in the editor

If you don't have the original .x and .xml files you can't convert a mod as you can't copy and load a mod from the workshop into the editor. So you must be the author and own the mod.

as long as the spintires mod has a mesh folder you have the .x and .xml fles to convert a mod

No not my mod. If I was smart enough to make a mod I wouldn't need help to convert one. Just wanna bring over trucks to mudrunner thats all not to reupload and claim as mine like some sort of looser, so don't get you're knickers in a knot, just wanna drive my trucks :)

Thanks mate link worked but that ♥♥♥♥ is complicated and I can't find any of the mod trucks .x .xml files. ♥♥♥♥ it wish this ♥♥♥♥ didn't have to be so complex. Why the ♥♥♥♥ wouldn't they make mudrunner compatible with old mods WTF?

spintires mudrunner was written for consoles then ported to PC, they didn't want consoles to have user made vehicles and maps

Looks like you're not going to be able to convert trucks unless you made it yourself in the first place (or you know the original author and can get the files). Thanks, devs. Just tried this with an "old" Spintires mod that I downloaded. I can kind of import it into the editor, and I can create the _t and _m folders which the old mod don't seem to have, and move the dds textures into _t like a mudrunner mod is. But it still won't load the truck in the editor, 'cos I don't have the .X and .xml files as mentioned above: from what I can tell, those are used to build the mod and not distributed with it.

i was trying too to figured out how convert some trucks (mainly personally). Since i saw on workshop some conversion from Spintires, i guess it was possibile publish them by giving to the author the right credits and consided myself just a mere importer.
Anyway on Spintires editor i can see everything of the car, on Mudrunner editor i got some problems to see too the default mudrunner veichles (just for understand how files are set) even with media.zip folder extracted. Mistery...
