cut down trees?

Can you manualy cut pine trees down to make your own path?

or a digger / shovel attachment to move rock falls on downhill map.

actually, taking down trees with one of those backhoes with a tree cutter on (dont know what its actually called) then loading them and put them in piles. that would be really cool imo. not that it would ever happen but..

It would be cool, but it'd massively unbalance the game, unless you were restricted to only cutting certain designated trees.

It does feel like the game has the potential to get far deeper on that side of things. It'd be nice to have long-thin maps too, so there was some serious distance to cover.

People talked about it since Spintires release in 2014. Development did not move in this direction not even an inch.

Agreed it would be very cool but ain't likely.
You can PULL down trees up to a certain size with the winch. I found it easier (on the old game) to just plow through using the E class monsters but again it only works up to a certain size.
