Unlocking Vehicles

How the F*** do u unlock vehicles. I have completed 3 maps and still haven't unlocked a single vehicle?

Do i manually load the logs or automatically load the logs to get progession points.

I play Hardcore, default starting vehicle selection, unlocking all garages and visiting all watch points, finding all vehicles, and I get at least one point after completion of each map

Like rookie31st I get one point after completing each map. But I play on hardcore mode and unlock everything there is to unlock on the map (watchtowers, garages, vehicles), so perhaps that matters.

Yeah i'm not on hardcore mode and have unlocked all watchtowers, garages, & vehicles. I am unlocking the maps but haven't been able to unlock a new vehicle.

Both the maps and the vehicles show you how many points are needed to unlock them. So if you are unlocking maps than you are also progressing in unlocking vehicles.

I am on my 4th map Crossing and still haven't unlocked the C-256 or A-3151

Is there a log icon next to these?
If yes it means you need to complete maps on hardcore. You need to complete exact number as many logs you see.

I have played all maps on standard up to the last one and so all vehicles except the last one are unlocked. The big E shows one log next to it indicating one further map, the last one, needs to be finished.

I didnt take it from anywhere, maybe I'm wrong.
I thought it works like that because when I finished the a map on casual it didnt take away any log icons. But after that I finished it on hardcore it took away one log.
Plus the log icon looks like the hardcore achievement.

But if you finished 5 maps, you should own all vehicles. I finished 4 maps on hardcore and I see only one log next to E-7310.

I don't know about the hardcore requirement, but I have so far done the first 5 maps once each on hardcore, and like The_Mell I still require one more point to unlock the last vehicle.

You just have to clear the six maps, casual or hardcore doesnt matter. Challenges does not unlock anything except next challenge. Do not need to unlock waypoints, garage or vehicles just finish the maps.
