- B-130 has diff-lock removed. (Which makes it nearly undriveable).
new vehicles were added,
the maps have all been modified from the originals (some a lot more than others),
added in cabin view,
improved physics,
added challenge maps,
added a vehicle selection and map balance system when choosing a map,
introduced the unlocking of vehicles and maps via progression points,
added pumpkins,
a different log loading stand system.
Just some of the more obvious changes off the top of my head. There are of course many more changes including changes to vehicles from the old game.
While it's not new to Mudrunner, some things were accidentally removed in the timebomb patch for Oldtires, so now w ehave:
Proper mud buildup on tires (i.e. clumps)
Tire tracks left on ground from tires
Water drips from vehicle after submersion
Water reacts to wheels better
Some other changes that weren't noted above regarding water:
Interior camera can be submerged (unlike the old game), but this just shows murky mess.
Water physics have been greatly ajusted and look far better and smoother
New particle effects for water
New particle effects for truck-mounted lighting
Reworked headlight system. When the headlights are off-screen, the rest of the area brightens up instead of staying dark.
With lights on, the surrounding area darkens more realisticly.
Headligths are a bit more nessesary to see at night.
Water flow force actually means something. It's really annoying, but much mroe realistic.
And that's that for now. Probably some other stuff we missed...
-removal of logging sites (the ones without logging kiosks) and related achievements
-more winch points to truck sides awww yisss
-water depth indicators in the map view
This was in spintires, infact a few of these 'new' things where in spintires after their latest update from about a year ago, perhaps you guys should go and play it and see theirs not much difference,
I still think this is a cutdown version from the old, we are missing things like the ability to change tires, and what happened to the recovery truck that had the crane winch on the back ?
We cant even remap keys is this version like in the old one........
