Double Winch wish
I wish that they would put in double winching. If your going through mud hell and back you would have double winches or at least a two part winch. Wranglerstar does it in his video where he pulls a subaru back on the road.

Or a winch you can switch. A winch in the rear would be nice.

Also would be cool if you could winch up multiple trucks at once, not only two. In the original Spintires if you left the truck the winch would dissappear. For exaple:
___ ___ ___
I___I*------I___I------I___I

*: the truck you drive.

Hope you understood :P

Triple trucks FTW! :steamhappy:

I doupt this will come in MudRunner. Same physics engine with same restrictions as SpinTires :(
Maybe with MudRunner2 ? ;-)

Hope so!

different physics engine so it's compatable with consoles.
I wish the double was a thing. Would help a lot if you need a second propr to unflip or a second attachment point for getting out of a precarious position

I dont need 2 winch. 1 is enough :D I dont want things to get very easy.

In '14 version (AFAIR, even before log-spawning kiosks) winch was staying when switching between linked trucks. Same was for gearboxes. Now (03.03.16) truck reset to "auto" gear and unhook winch when switch. For moving convoys it is convenient, but in most recovery cases during single player runs this bites hard.
There was fun times on early game Coast juggling both loaded 4320 and 130 for 1+ gear and avoiding stalled engines.

Personally, I wish for a sane way to flip vehicles over. In the real world, you could wintch a flipped truck back upright, but that doesn't work in Spintires. All the winch points are low on the chassis and the ground doesn't seem to offer much of any resistance. Trying to "tow" trucks back upright just causes them to slide all over the place.

In my experience it is not true. I made my trucks flip back on wheels without bigger problems.

Flipped truck are not too difficult, because once it if flipped, one of these "low on the chassis" winch points is up in the air, and the wheels usually dig in. Trailers, e.g. the garage trailer, can be more difficult, because the winch anchors are so far from the center of gravity and their sides are so smooth.
The players who used to play the old tech demo had to make do without a winch, and many learned how to nudge a truck upright with another truck. That is actually not very "sane", but it works well, with practice.

I've had absolutely rotten luck flipping trucks together without dragging them around for half a mile. Point is, I'd like to see winch points higher up on the chassis and stronger surface grip between upturned trucks and the ground. It's just sully that my truck isn't powerful enough to drive through the mud on its wheels, but it can be dragged through the mud on its side.

Be nice if we had some means of reattaching semi-trailers if decouple with the front legs still retracted. In that case, the trailer will nose-over and I don't know of a way to get a truck under it to reconnect it.

The way I reattached those was to winch to it and then find myself a hill. Pointing the front of the tractor up the hill ususally dropped the back enough for the trailer to pop up and onto the back

Right, I did that at a shallow river with a steep bank. Point is, I'm looking for proper solutions to these issues, rather than abusing the somewhat glitchy physics. Offroadind heavy goods vehicles should by no means be easy, but it just feels like the game has no "intended" means of recovering from flips or detachments. It has kludge solutions, but I'm hoping for a more complete system.

I agree, that was just my way around it.
I've been known to drag trailers around for upwards of half an hour finding a spot ti reattach because I'm too stubborn to rescue and fetch a new trailer
