Will the trademark be purchased from them in the future?
A lot of people want this question asked as well.
© 2017 MudRunner: a Spintires game. Developed by Saber Interactive and published by Focus Home Interactive. Spintires is a registered trademark of Oovee™ Ltd © 2017 Oovee™ Ltd. MudRunner is a trademark of Saber Interactive Inc. All rights reserved.
They kept the Spintires name to let everyone knows how things have moved since then but at the same time introduced the new trademark MudRunner to become known and grow in popularity. If there is a sequel, they will simply name it MudRunner 2 and drop the Spintires name entirely. If Oovee would still own the rights to the code that Pavel developed, this game would not even exist as they would not have allowed the switch for another publisher, that's for sure. They must have come to an agreement, it's easy to figure out. Oovee will still pump cash for this game on the trademark but after that, it's game done. Some here are paranoid about reading the Oovee name on the product, but they're not as much involved anymore as some might think, I'm quite sure on this, so calm down, relax everyone... this game will be pure gold!!
Can you blame us for being overly cautious?
Yes, Spintires: MudRunner will have multiplayer saves.
-----------------
fool me once.....
promised multiplayer saves for spintires... where are they oh yeah it was a lie, pay for the game a 2nd time should i ? hahahahahaha
yeah and u say u wont abandon this game well this pavel guy already abandoned spintires 1 and left his broken promises with our money
and now u want my money again ? ???????????????
i want to ask when is spintires 3 launching ? (with multiplayer saves)
(answer after sales for spintires 2 dry up)
its a disgrace to ask to buy this game again when i still wait on the promises that were made to be kept for spintires
completely untrustworthy pavel
These are new people, I don't think Pavel will have any part in this.
I hope my question is not dumb, cause I never played, but how you handle loads and stuff like this?
Is this game based to simulate offroad driving or also a little bit the Transportation themselfe?
Am I able to load and unload cargo and get payed for?
How I handle the trucks in game? Do I Need to buy them with in game Money or just select and drive?
Cheers
Woha
Pavel Zagrebelny has never abandoned Spintires; he severed ties with Oovee, and MudRunner is the result of that precisely because he didn't. Also, I'm certain that Oovee kept most of your money (one of the reasons he left there).
Loads can either load automatically (drive to the lumberyard, click "load") or by operating a crane on other logging areas. The game is not an ETS2-type economic simulation. You load and unload cargo, you need to bring enough lumber to the target area to "win" the map. Trucks are "select and drive".
The focus of Spintires is on the offroad driving, with its unequaled ground simulation.
I noticed that there were questions about vehicle customisation. I have edited the original post for clarity, but you will be able to modify your vehicles, as you were able to in the original Spintires.
What you won't be able to do is add decals, change vehicle colours, or add rim spinners. That kind of customisation.
Pavel is back with Saber Interactive and is vision holder and lead developer on Spintires: MudRunner.
