I think this would be a healthy movement to make. Just got in an online game with a hacker that completely broke the game. make's everything super unfun.
That is a valid and what, in my opinion, would be an interesting and neat way of doing it. I was refering to steam's recent players met list, this game doesn't show players on there. I am unaware if this is a development issue in the game or what, however I have encountered this in a few games.
@EVERYONE@
Also I thought about mentioning this earlier, when I say hacker, I actually mean hacker. There was no chance of it being dysnc....
It was the map where two spike walls push in slowly from the sides. He literally flew up to the top of the left wall then typed in chat "HAHA SUCKER" which made me just troll him by standing in the center where the walls stop before reaching. This being said, I am aware that at times dysnc causes players to be on two different maps (I've seen it first hand when me and my brother play online together) however the guy actually avoided the spike walls and never "rubber banded" like what happens when people are on two seperate maps. And while I wish the person could be reported and banned, there is little I can I do because of the amount of people with the same steam name as the person.
Also, not claiming what someone else is reporting isn't hacking, I just am careful about what I call hacking, partly because I get called a hacker everytime I play a game, to the point that I started recording most gameplay. And also because I enjoy the use of glitches and even encourage it so I am fully aware of the difference in a glitch and hack as well as the ability for them to look identical.
The key difference being, a glitch is usually something that the developers missed, sure you can go post somewhere about it, or you can spread the knowledge of this glitch so vastly that the developers are forced to either fix it, or for the glitch to become common place and basic game tactics. Whereas; a hack, is not the developers fault, but instead an attack on the system which should at all times be reported to their proper location.
