LOTS of glitches.
I've noticed quite a few bugs and glitches in my time playing the game, and I thought I would document them here.
  • None of the maps I have created in the level editor will load.
  • It is very easy to clip through walls when being shot at by the laser rifle (on some maps).
  • It is possible for two players to grab a pumpkin if they both touch it at the same time, resulting in two boss players and overlapping boss health bars.
  • Joining an online match results in glitched visuals in the match that the current players are fighting in before your player is on the map. After you begin playing, the visuals return to normal.
  • I am unsure if this is the result of third party software or a mere glitch, but occasionally players become impossible to kill, taking no damage from any attacks or falling off screen.
  • Once, my game froze when I was in the middle of the match. Upon returning to the main menu, an odd gradient texture was displayed, and I could not do anything except access the pause menu. Edit: this has now happened to me several times, and I am unsure of the cause. One time I just left a match and was taken to this screen, and once just pausing caused it to happen.
  • Occasionally, when a player leaves a match, the ground can disappear in the next round, leaving the map completely empty. Sometimes the ground will re-appear, but not often.
  • Some sprites do not disappear when transitioning to the next round, such as time bubble or the explosion sprite.
  • Some players spawning inside of the ground on winter maps, and clipping into the ground after being hit by a melee attack from above.
  • Being able to take damage from another players' attacks despite them being on the other side of the map.
  • One time, a yellow player joined, and upon the round starting they disappeared, but were still visibly on the server because of their kill count. During that match, they flew out of the pit at the bottom of the map with a weapon.
  • INSANE momentum after being shot by the laser rifle. (Cause of the clips)
  • Falling through platforms that should be solid.
  • Platforms spawning upside-down.
  • A time bubble explosion causing the entire screen to shake violently.
  • Players grabbing weapons out of seemingly nowhere in the middle of a match.
  • Players having weapon sprites in their hands before the match starts.
  • Ice sprites on a player carrying over to the next match.
  • Objects like a rotating platform disappearing.
  • Players having shields that are miscolored.
  • Random freezes and crashes. A LOT of them.
  • A player that has a pumpkin can easily clip out of the arena when being shot at by multiple revolvers.
  • Some chains start broken at the beginning of a match.
  • Noticeable lag on other programs when the game is open. (My computer is fast, so this isnt an issue caused by my computer being slow.)
  • A sort of "ghost" player that appears; a player that cannot be damaged, cannot move, and is not affected by physics. They can chat, so this is a real player, not just a broken texture, and stay there no matter what happens, even if another player of the same color joins.
  • Objects such as barrels and weapons floating.

Please, Landfall, FIX THE LASER RIFLE. I cannot stress this enough. If you are so much as touched by a single bullet that is fired from it, you can gain enough momentum to clip through a wall. It's that easy.

    Why should this be fixed? I can't think of one reason why this is a bad thing.

Edit: this has now happened to me several times, and I am unsure of the cause. One time I just left a match and was taken to this screen, and once just pausing caused it to happen.

    I've never heard of this, nor has it ever happened to me in all of my months of playing, so this might have been fixed by the time this topic was made. If this is still an issue for you, try turning vsync and anti aliasing off as well as verifying the integrity of your game cache/files.

  • Occasionally, when a player leaves a match, the ground can disappear in the next round, leaving the map completely empty. Sometimes the ground will re-appear, but not often.

    This does happen sometimes. Until a patch is implemented, try playing on less Winter/Desert/Factory/Western maps, as those can be especially buggy at times. Stick more towards Woods/Castle/Halloween ones instead.

  • Some sprites do not disappear when transitioning to the next round, such as time bubble or the explosion sprite.

    Currently, this shouldn't affect gameplay as far as I know/have seen.

  • Some players spawning inside of the ground on winter maps, and clipping into the ground after being hit by a melee attack from above.

    This can be fixed by spam punching and blocking straight up right before you spawn. I've tested the melee attack from above, and that didn't happen, nor have I ever seen it happen before testing. Maybe it was accidentally patched after this topic was made?

  • Being able to take damage from another players' attacks despite them being on the other side of the map.

    This is another relatively common desync bug. Try playing with players that have a better internet connection is all I can say for now until this gets patched.

    This is basically another version of the fifth bullet point.

    What do you mean by this? What platforms?

    This has been patched as far as I know.

    Another desync bug similar to the tenth bullet. Until a patch comes, all I can tell you is to try and play with people that have a better internet connection for now.

  • Players having weapon sprites in their hands before the match starts.

    This shouldn't affect gameplay, so it probably won't be fixed for now.

  • Ice sprites on a player carrying over to the next match.

    Same as above. (Although if you're talking about the sprites from the Ice Gun, I've never seen this happen so it might have been fixed.)

  • Objects like a rotating platform disappearing.

    I'm assuming you're talking about the ones on certain factory maps like the seventh bullet? If so, same thing.

  • Players having shields that are miscolored.

    This was patched.

  • Random freezes and crashes. A LOT of them.

    I haven't had any aside from like 10 over all my months of playing, even with my terrible internet connection and even worse computer. So this is on your end, not the game's.

  • A player that has a pumpkin can easily clip out of the arena when being shot at by multiple revolvers.

    This has been patched.

  • Some chains start broken at the beginning of a match.

    This has also been patched.

    I'm not sure what to say about this. I'll relay it to the devs if you want, but for now, why are you running other programs when playing Stick Fight? Which programs are these?

Sorry man, this gun is intended to be as ridiculous as it is. If you don't like it, disable it when hosting and ask nicely for the host to disable it during Quick Matches. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Good list!
One thing I do not see here, is that chains will often stay unbroken on your screen, if someone else shoots them with a bullet-based gun. (Such as a pistol)

Another Glitch. Some sounds doesn't mute if you put the master or sfx volume in 0. EX: Time Gun or Snake Grenade Launcher.

When you wobble the platforms lasers are sitting on in the normal landfall maps, the movement doean't aplear on an enemy screen

The game is basically unplayable right now, and I have the same problem with slow down. There are simply too many bugs and glitches and some of which are desync issues but still unplayable and I can't bear to play anymore.

Two more: people have found glitches that prevent them from dying in the void, and other glitches that allow them to 1 hot everyone, regardless of the hp count, which is COMPLETELY unfair, and something tells me its not a "glitch"

Unfortunately this hasn't been patched yet, although it doesn't happen all of the time anymore for some reason.

Many bugs have been patched now, and like I said in the long answer to the topic even with my bad internet connection and even worse computer I experience minimal issues. If you don't like the very few and not that inconvenient bugs that this game has, then just don't play it or refund it instead of complaining on the forums.

Like the fifth, eleventh, and twenty-fifth bullets in the long answer to the topic, these are relatively uncommon desync bugs. Unfortunately the only fix to them until they are patched is to rejoin/rehost a new game.
This list excludes one MASSIVE AND MASSIVELY ANNOYING glitch. This happens commonly to me, and it's getting extremely frustrating. When a new round loads in, eeveryone gets stuck in the the position they spawned in and are stuck. No animations play, but punches still happen, the only way to fix this is to miraculously get a weapon and manage to kill everyone else (might not even fix it because its never happened to me) or someone leaves.

Ah yes, this is possibly the worst bug this game has aside from the black hole bug, yet the reason this wasn’t included in the original post is because this is a very old post, and this bug surfaced only recently. Sadly there are no other fixes aside from the ones you listed, so you’ll just have to do that until a patch is released:/

Well... I became invincebale untill I restarted the game, that was pretty fun untill everyone left... (I could even jump of the map and be alright)
