6 or 8 Player Local please

I get a bunch of friends over and I have more than 4 controllers, but unfortunately you can only do 4 players. I can see how it would be annoying for online, but can you make it so you could have more players for local matches.

8 xbox 360 controllers plus usb wireless adapter works great for Runbow.

You can also just get a usb hub and connect a bunch or buy some bluetooth ones.

The cheapest is just the xbox 360 controllers. You can buy lots of used ones on ebay for cheap, and then the usb dongle is about $20 and can handle 4 controllers each. I plug it into the steam link. Most games target xbox 360 as their default controller layout.

Ah, nice :) I personally don't like using controller (I feel keyboard is much easier to use and control) - but thank you for the ideas to tell people :D

To be honest I don't believe the developers would do this mainly because 6 players wouldn't really fit right into the game and the maps of the game, let alone 8 players! They would have to resize each map and it would still greatly unbalence the game especially on the magic tomato rounds and the maps with preset guns. So a simple answer: No, because the developers would probably say that they have other stuff in the game to do and they don't wanna add 8 players because it would insanely unbalence the game and make it harder for them to think of a way to balence it... I bet the developers can talk constantly about how this would be bad for their game and even I could go on... Just think about it, 8 players rushing to the center all at once, THE HORROR!

I don't think the devs or the creator of every level on the workshop will bother adding another 2-4 spawn points for each map

maybe you could just have a tournament if you have a bunch of friends over?
