Remote Play together

Hello, my brother and I wanted to play this game together via Steam Remote Play Together. But I can join, but not load a character or do anything really. Do I HAVE to use a controller so that the game recognises me as another player? That would be very sad

Well yeah ik what remote play is, I meant are your friends in the same house as you? Because then it wouldn't be necessary. I don't understand the issue either, do you just want a tutorial on how to get it set up? Or are you having issues with it?

I think you might have to use a controller, did you test to find out if using one worked? Also, no, I haven't just yet.

Same problem. I want to play with my friend, but he doesnt have the game. So i tried "remote play together". Im using mouse and keyboard, because i dont have a controller. It just so happened, that my friend doesnt have a controller aswell. When i invited him via steam remote play, he was controlling my keyboard and mouse, and was the same character as me. Sadly, he doesnt live anywhere near my house, so i cant buy 2 controllers to play with him. Hopefully the devs wont be lazy AF (please fix hackers), and soon we will be able to play together with our own keyboard and mouse.

I believe I already explained to you that the "hacks" you listed was just desync, and unfortunately most of the desync in this game cannot be fixed due to the devs having to rewrite major portions of the game to do so :/
