Game Not Starting

When I try to launch the game from Steam it says "Running," never opens the game, and then stops displaying "Running". Why? It used to work on my computer.

It seems the game launcher won't recognize your monitor. Please go into your computers display settings and change the screen resolution and then change it back. If it doesn't work, let us know.

I tried this and it worked to no avail.

Ok, here are some additional things to try:

- Make an exception for the game with your anti-virus, it may be removing game files.
- Update your graphic drivers
- Verify the integrity of the game files
- Run Steam as an administrator
- If you have Citrix workspace installed please disable it/get citrix uninstaller and make sure there are no files left.

Force DirectX 11 on launch:
Go to your Steam Library.
- Find the game and right-click it, then select "Properties"
- Under the General Tab, click "Set Launch Options" and a dialogue box will appear.
- Type in "-force-d3d11" (without the quotes) and click "OK"
- Close the Properties window.

I got my game to work. I uninstalled the game then completely restarted all traces of steam in task manager and then opened steam back up and reinstalled
