Potential fixes for: Error: “No connection to host could be made, please check firewall”
Error: “No connection to host could be made, please check firewall”

This error happens when the game can find and join a match but is not able to communicate with the host.

This could be because of multiple reasons.

1) Your firewall is stopping the game from communicating with the host. Try disabling it or make sure there is an exception for Stick Fight: The game

2) Your network could have blocked ports. This is often the case in public networks like school and library networks.

3) Your router could have blocked ports. Try plugging directly into the modem.

4) You might have an antivirus program stopping the data from being sent. Try making an exception for Stick Fight: The Game

Make sure these ports are open:
UDP 3478 (Outbound)
UDP 4379 (Outbound)
UDP 4380 (Outbound)

Try verifying the integrity of the game cache: https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=2037-QEUH-3335
If you get the message that there are missing files you might have an antivirus program actively removing necessary files from the game. Try making an exception for Stick Fight: The Game

If none of this helps you could try using a service like Hamachi Here's a guide written on the steam forum by a user who used Hamachi: http://steamcommunity.com/app/674940/discussions/0/♥♥♥♥861734111334022/
